Feeling overwhelmed when selling your home is common. This said, there are some tell-tale signs that you are in over your head and me need help or may need to find another agent and/or broker. I’ve listed these signs below. Feel free to connect with me via phone to discuss any questions you may have when it comes to rightsizing your home.
1. Your agent / broker isn’t listening to you. You have to be on the same page about your wants and needs are pertinent when selling or buying a home. If you’re not, proposed sale deals that do not fit your criteria will continue to head in your direction and waste your time. It also is a sign that your help isn’t really paying attention to you.
2. You feel pressured to sell. This is a no-no. Manipulative, aggressive and selfish agents / brokers – whomever … do not deserve your business. You should both be acting in your best interests with a safe, open line of communication. If this isn’t the case, you need to have a conversation with your agent or broker. In fact, with anyone who makes you feel this way.
3. Communication is key! . If your agent or broker doesn’t respond to your voicemails, texts, emails or any combination of communication efforts in a timely manner, it may be time to find someone new. In real estate, time is of the matter when it comes to deals. Working with someone who isn’t responsive is a huge problem.
