I can’t talk enough about how excited I am for the renovation of Walnut Creek’s Broadway Plaza. According to the website, “Broadway Plaza is redefining 250,000 square feet of retail space, adding opportunity for retailers to bring their best concepts to this lively downtown property, anchored by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Macy’s.”
The expanded shopping area will bring in a new level of high-end business in our ever-expanding community. The list of added shops and restaurants, along with the new Tesla location, truly will elevate home values within the area and make Walnut Creek an even more desired city. So, yes – to answer you unasked question…. Broadway Plaza’s improvements are going to help your home value!
Now, construction has been going on for a while and isn’t expected to stop until 2016. So, in case you forgot what Broadway Plaza used to look like, I’m linking one of my favorite “plaza” memories from the past- which was the flashmob. Here’s the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgBg_qcRW3k
